Warner Young Management offer a range of services within the music business from short-term live projects to full tour management, artist management, production and booking agency services.
Mentoring
We offer a bespoke mentoring programme for artists. This can be anything from a basic overview of how to start making money from music for musicians just starting out professionally, to a tailored and dedicated package of mentoring for artists who may have been in the business for years but lack direction, focus, or just clarity on certain aspects of their career or the music business in general. We accept commissions from record labels with artists on their roster who they'd like to develop in some way, and from artists directly. A session can just be a couple of hours, or it can be development focused spanning a year or more.
Live events and production
Having developed and managed major live events from scratch we can advise on any aspect of live event production from the very unsexy-but-vital traffic management right up to the cool stuff like booking and fulfilling production requirements for stadium-level artists and tours. We work with a variety of suppliers to deliver events at every level.
Management and Development
Warner Young also provides a range of artist services, from mentoring mentioned above to full management, acquiring record and publishing deals where necessary.
Booking
Thanks to our extensive contacts across the industry we are able to book artists for events, often in new or unusual markets. We can also advise artists on how to get booking representation and where relevant make introductions.
Research
Angela is currently conducting PhD research with Solent University: British Music Festivals in the 21st Century: The Purposes of Participation for Performers and Organisers. The aim of this research is to illustrate the very unique participation factors that performers and organisers experience, and to look at ways in which the music festival industry can better support these participants.
